1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Challenge Coin Check:

  • Account information: Email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account.

  • Profile information: Username, contact email (optional), and platform type (iOS/Android).

  • User content: Coin images you upload, along with metadata you provide (title, organization, unit, year, description, tags).

  • Usage data: Likes, comments, challenge votes, and listing activity.

  • Device information: Device type and platform for app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the App, including displaying your coins in the browse gallery, challenges, and public profiles.

  • To process in-app purchases (Collector's Pass).

  • To send account-related emails (password resets, account notifications) via Postmark.

  • To display your contact email to other users when you list a coin for sale or trade (only if you provide one).

  • To generate leaderboard rankings and challenge results.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

  • Supabase: Authentication, database storage, and real-time features (hosted in the US).

  • Cloudflare R2: Image storage and delivery.

  • Cloudflare Workers: API backend and web pages.

  • Postmark: Transactional emails (password resets).

  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: In-app purchase processing.

  • RevenueCat: Purchase validation and subscription management.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your coin images, titles, and username are displayed publicly within the App's browse gallery, challenges, leaderboard, and shared images. Your contact email is only shown when you explicitly list a coin for sale or trade.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (coins, images, comments, likes, and profile information) is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, secure HTTPS connections, and authenticated API endpoints. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Challenge Coin Check is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (visible in the App).

  • Update your profile information at any time.

  • Delete your account and all associated data.

  • Opt out of providing a contact email for listings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
